Harris Teeter

Harris Teeter has a great manager, Chip Ward, and wonderful customer service. I had an issue with my receipt and they took care of it with no problem. I told Chip that I often see a lot of items on sale in the store that aren't posted in the sales flyer. He told me that at any given time they have around 4,500 items on sale in the store. Obviously, they are not all in the flyer. The unreal deals sometimes run for a month. From my experience, Harris Teeter has very few errors in their pricing and they have a great system in place. If there is a problem, they always make it right.

A funny story: Today I met Chip Ward for the first time. I realized it was his mother or mother-in-law who was partly responsible for me getting back into couponing. About a year and a half ago, we took a computer class together. While on break, she was cutting out coupons. Of course I was interested, so I started asking questions. She had a huge bag of coupons and she gave me what she did not use. She woke me up to the fact HT has Triple Coupon Week. Matter of fact, it was that weekend and she was getting ready for the sale. I could not believe my savings that weekend. I always dreaded grocery shopping now it is like a game.
