Occasionally, you will see a post here (such as the current deal below) on SWS for deeply discounted restaurant gift certificates such as $25 dining certificate for $2 or $3.  These are legitimate and I have used them several times along with several friends who have taken advantage of these deals.


You can buy $25 gift certificates for your local participating restaurants at $10 any time, but to take advantage of even more savings use the discount codes that SWS posts as they come around.


1. Go to Restaurant.com
2. Enter a zip code to shop.
3. Click Add to Cart for the certificates you'd like.
4. Click "Check Out" and enter DISCOUNT (which is currently PUMPKIN) code for 70% off.
5. Click "Recalculate Total" to apply your savings.

I purchased two $25 gift certificates recently for $3 each.  They also make great stocking stuffers for your children away at college.
