2nd Edition of The Carnival of Savings

It is time to take submissions for the 2nd Edition of The Carnival of Savings.

If you would like to submit a post to the carnival, click on the submit button below. You will not actually be submitting the content but just the permalink.

Where it says "Carnival" and example, click on the drop down and scroll up a good bit and select "carnival of savings." Once selected, enter your permalink to your post and a brief comment and that is it.

The Carnival of Savings "topics" include general savings tips as well as savings in the following areas:

Grocery
Couponing
Meal Planning
Retail Savings
Gardening
Travel
Restaurant
Household
Consignment
Garage Sale
Budgeting

If you are a Treasure Hunter, you may even make a post to share your favorite flea market, antique store, and great deals found.

The 2nd edition is scheduled for release August 14. Submission deadline will be August 13.

Initially, we will publish approximately every four weeks. The goal eventually will be to publish every two weeks and to set up a schedule of hosts.

Important Note If You Are Interested in Hosting The Carnival of Savings:

As the Organizer for The Carnival of Savings, I am responsible for forwarding emails to the host of each edition. The host will weed through the submissions and toss out the emails that are not eligible or perhaps spam. If a post is in question, you may forward to me and I can review. As a host, you will only need to cut and paste the submission links to pull your edition together - no need to type it up and link - it is all done for you. You may even comment by adding an intro for each submission if you like but it is not necessary. You might comment on one or two.

The carnival will be a large post on your site, depending on the number of submissions.

As a host, you have the option to be the lead post if you choose to submit a tip. It is not necessary that you submit a post since you are hosting the carnival and putting the edition together. Since you are cutting a pasting the links it won't take you long. You may spend an hour weeding through the submissions.
