As Seen On TV Confession

True Confession: I could easily be an "as seen on T.V. junkie." Have you ever noticed an entire wall in Bed, Bath and Beyond is dedicated to "as seen on T.V." items? I feel like a kid in the candy store looking at all those products. I will confess I have made a purchase or two just out of curiosity.

Most times, I curtail my need to buy but often wonder if these products really do what they say they do. I especially like the commercials on T.V. that say, "call in the next 10 minutes and get two for one." I often think, "well, I could call Cis and see if she wants to give it a try" and we would only pay half but I mostly let the urge die out.

I have also wondered if the "ShamWow" is as good as the fellow on T.V. claims. Here is our chance to give it a try for Free. I don't usually fill out surveys but I checked this one out and it only took one minute to fill in my mailing information and answer about 8 multiple choice questions about my cleaning habits.

Fill out the survey here and receive 2 FREE large ShamWow Cloth Towels. It says it will take 8 weeks for delivery and you know I will be looking for it. We finally get to see if the ShamWow is as good as the fellow claims. Update: I got an email from cousin and she stated she was not impressed with the ShamWow. On occasion, I have signed up for a free offer and not received it but 95% of the time they come through - since I don't know anyone that has received this offer yet, I can't confirm.

You don't pay a cent, not even for Shipping and Handling and no one asks you for credit card information or any nonsense like that.

  1. Hi Lisa! I bought these for christmas and they don't work as well as they do on tv. And they have to be damp to work. Which I think is kind of gross... who wants a nasty damp rag laying around just waiting to be used. So if you have an emergency spill you have to wet it first, squeeze it out, then use.

  2. Hey Lisa! I couldnt find your email so I am leaving this comment here for you. I found this deal on Hip to Save site. It is for Bushnell Weather Forcaster. It does NOT give you local weather but you can program in a city from 150 choices. Locally we could choose Jacksonville or Savannah. Our Walmart had them on sale for $50.00 so with the rebate it was free. You can get up to 3! Great xmas gifts! I bought 3. They ran out, dont know if they will restock the shelf or not. They had two 7 day forecasters left for $75.00. Those could be had for $25.00. Hopefully they will restock the shelves in our Wal mart or maybe the one in St. Marys or Waycross.... has them. Melanie
Dang! It wont let me paste it into this window. Go to Hip to Save, about 5 pages in. The offer is good until August 15. My email: c_melani@bellsouth.net

  3. Thanks Fran - they must be similar to the traditional shammy cloths Patrick uses to dry the car after being washed. Wierd - but they do have to be damp to absorb the water and he wrings out.
