Today's email explained to me that my paint should be arriving soon and there were instructions for opening the paint. Due to regulations, the paint is secured by a special locking ring. How many times have you purchased pre-packaged items and you spent ten minutes trying to open it up. How frustrating!
Here are instructions to keep you free from frustration...
Place a pair of pliers over the outer portion of the locking ring and clamp down. Apply an upward pressure on the pliers until the locking ring separates from the container. Peel the remaining portion of the locking ring off by hand.Removing the ring from the container typically causes the locking ring to deform. Therefore, the locking ring is non-reusable after its initial removal.
It should be arriving just in time...My daughter picked out a pretty Spring Green to paint a piece of furniture for her dorm room.
SWS is always posting fun freebies with no strings. If you find strings, let me know.
